This is the first of a seven weeks series about Chakras. At the end of this series, I hope you will download my FREE guided meditation to help clear your Chakras.
First, what are Chakras? Chakras are energy fields in your body. If any of them become blocked, illness and emotional issues can occur.
As part of this series, I am focusing on the seven major Chakras which include Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown. These Chakras run down the center of your body.
The Chakra that we will talk about today is the Root Chakra which is located at the base of your spine. This Chakra is associated with feeling safe, secure and grounded in all aspects of your life. It’s really about survival. When this Chakra is blocked, it can create fear. Fear in feeling safe and secure. It could be fear about your job, not having enough to eat, finances, relationships, etc.
The color associated with the Root Chakra is red. To help keep this Chakra clear, it is important to eat vegetables grown in the ground like beets, potatoes. It is also important to include foods rich in protein and fruits and veggies that are red like apples, strawberries, tomatoes, etc.
